Going back to school

Why I am excited about going back to school is because I want to see the plants that grow outside my class because they must be bigger now. I want to see my friends and play with them because I miss them this week. And I want to see under Te kapua because a teacher I saw at pak n save said it’s all changed and very cool now. I can’t wait to play at our play ground again.

Cotton ball rain

because my other cloud experiment didn’t work I did another experiment for fun day Friday. It is called the cotton ball rain. i got a bottle a plastic cup some cotton balls and water. i got help to put holes in the bottom of the cup. Then I put the cup in the bottle and the cotton balls in the cup. Then I tipped water into the cup on top of the cotton balls. i thought the water would come out the bottom of the cup but it didn’t. I pulled the up out of the bottle and the water started to rain out of the cup into the bottle! It worked! 

Going back to school.

Why I am excited to go back to school next week is because I will be able to see my friends again  and my teachers. I have missed them so much and we have all been waiting so long to go back. I can’t wait to play with my friends and go back in my classroom and see everyone. I am excited to see Te Kapua too and see if school has changed. I will miss my mum and baby brother but we will all still be happy to see each other after school. 

A cloud in a jar

This is my experiment called a cloud in a jar. I got a jar with hot water and a lid. Then I used hair spray and ice. The lid was upside down with ice on it. I sprayed the hairspray inside the jar with the hot water and then put the lid on top of the jar fast so the hair spray cloud stays trapped inside the jar. It was suppose to look like a very white cloud. i don’t Think it worked very well so i will like to do this experiment again to make it work and try different things like different hair spray and a different jar. But I really enjoyed working on this experiment and testing it out.

My favourite super hero

My favourite superhero is Spiderman because he shoot spiderwebs onto the bad people so they can be locked away and can’t do anymore bad things. I also like Spider-Man because he can use the web to fly around the city and get to places faster. I would like to try that because it would be so fun but I am scared of heights but spider man isn’t so that’s why he’s the best super hero to me. He has some really cool different suits that are different colours like black and red and the blue and red. Hes Not that big but he is so strong and his webs are strong just like spiders are.
